Knock From Within: Locked Doors & Inner Fear Meaning & Interpretation

"I was in my house. I heard a knock at the front door. I walked to open it. The door was locked. I turned the key. It would not turn. I tried the lock again. It was stuck. I looked through the peephole. No one was there. I heard the knock again. It came from inside. I turned around. The hallway was empty. I walked to the back door. It was locked too. I tried all the windows. They would not open. I felt trapped. I could not get out. I heard footsteps upstairs. Someone was in my house. I grabbed my phone. The battery was dead. I hid in the closet. My heart was pounding. I heard the footsteps come down the stairs. They stopped right outside the closet door. The handle turned. The door opened. I woke up screaming. I was in my bed. I checked all the doors. They were unlocked. I felt safe again. But I could not sleep."
