"I stood on the middle of a high, narrow wooden bridge over a deep canyon. Strong winds blew hard, and the old ropes began to snap one by one. The wooden planks beneath my feet cracked and fell into the dark canyon below. I held tight to the swaying ropes and looked down at the sharp rocks far beneath me. Danger was all around me, and every step felt unsafe. My hands shook, and my heart pounded wild in my chest. I took a slow step forward, terrified that the bridge would break completely."
