Spiders under Blanket: Hidden childhood Fears and repressed Anxiety

"I don't know if I was asleep in my own room or somewhere else. It looked familiar, but the window was in the wrong place. I woke up and saw a small spider on the pillow beside me. I tried to brush it off, but when I moved the blanket there were more underneath. They weren't huge. That almost made it worse. They were just normal-looking spiders, crawling slowly over the sheets and disappearing into the folds. I kept telling myself they probably weren’t going to hurt me, but I couldn’t make myself move. Then I was standing in the hallway, holding a vacuum cleaner. I was trying to clean them up, but the vacuum wasn't plugged in. I remember getting frustrated because I couldn't find the outlet, even though it was right there a second ago. My sister walked past me carrying a bowl of cereal. I asked her if she could help, and she said, “They've always been here.” After that I noticed webs covering the ceiling, the door handles, even the light switch. I ran outside, but there were spiders on my clothes. I could feel them moving under my shirt and kept shaking myself, trying to get them off. Nobody nearby seemed to notice. Then one crawled across my hand, and I woke up trying to flick it away."
