The Fog of Lost Identity: A Dream of Confusion Meaning & Interpretation

"I was walking home from school. Then fog came. It was thick and white. I could not see far. I turned left. I did not know where I was. I turned right. Everything looked the same. I called out for my mom. No one answered. I walked straight. The street signs were blank. I saw my house. I ran to it. It was not my house. The door opened. A stranger looked at me. "Can I help you?" she asked. "I am lost," I said. "Where am I?" She pointed down the road. I walked that way. I saw my school. But it was different. The windows were painted black. No one was there. I felt so confused. Nothing made sense. I sat on the ground. I did not know what to do. I closed my eyes. I hoped to wake up. I opened my eyes. I was in my bed. I felt so relieved. But I was still confused. I looked out my window. The fog was gone. Everything was normal."
