"I stood on the front porch of my house on a rainy afternoon. Heavy gray rain poured down from the sky without stopping. Suddenly, brown water surged over the sidewalk and covered the entire street. The water rose fast, swallowing up cars and rushing into my front yard. I ran inside and locked the door, but muddy water began pouring in under the frame. It quickly reached my knees, pulling furniture along in the dark current. Panic gripped my chest tight as the water kept climbing up the walls. I scrambled up the stairs to escape, but there was nowhere left to go. I woke up breathing hard, my heart racing fast."
