Crumbling teeth and sand Bread: Social anxiety and repressed Shame

"i was sitting at a fancy dinner party with some people from high school i haven't spoken to in years, trying to chew on a piece of bread that tasted like sand. my jaw started feeling really weird and loose, like i was chewing on small pebbles instead of food. i excused myself to go to the bathroom to check, but the hallway kept getting longer and turned into the hallway of my old apartment building. when i finally found a mirror and looked in, my front teeth were completely black and crumbling at the edges. i reached up to touch one and it just disintegrated into powdery black dust right in my mouth, followed by three more just popping loose and sliding out onto my tongue. there wasn't any pain or blood, which was the strangest part, just this gross, dry crunching feeling every time i tried to close my mouth. i kept spitting chunks of dark, ruined enamel into the sink, frantically trying to hold the rest of them in place with my fingers so no one outside would notice. then suddenly i was back at the dinner table and everyone was laughing and talking, and i was sitting there with my lips pressed tightly together, completely panicked that if i opened my mouth to say anything, my whole jaw would just fall apart."
