Flying dolphins and the damp Rake

"I was sitting on the edge of a murky hotel swimming pool trying to untie my shoelaces so i could find my dropped keys, but the water started rising rapidly until it spilled over the concrete edge. Suddenly these two huge, sleek dolphins splashed right up out of the deep end, their gray skin shining like wet silver in the sun. They weren't even swimming in water anymore—they were just gliding through the warm air around my head, making these quiet clicking sounds and gently bumping their snouts against my shoulder like friendly dogs. I started laughing out loud, reaching up to stroke their wet backs, and this bursting, giddy excitement filled my whole chest because it felt so completely natural for them to be flying around the yard. Then all of a sudden I was standing inside an empty hardware store holding a plastic rake, but my hands still felt damp and cool, and I couldn't stop smiling at the ceiling."
