Kittens spilling from the kitchen Cabinet

"I was in my old childhood kitchen, except the fridge was somehow in the middle of the floor and humming really loudly. I opened a cabinet to get a glass and a whole pile of kittens spilled out—tiny, gray, orange, one with a weirdly human-looking face for a second before it was just a normal kitten again. I remember feeling panicked that I had to feed all of them, but I couldn't figure out what kittens eat. I kept pouring milk into little bottle caps but most of it ended up on the counter. At some point I was outside on a porch I've never seen before, holding two kittens against my chest while it started raining warm rain. One kept trying to climb onto my shoulder and I was scared I'd drop it. Then my grandmother was there, though she never said anything, just handed me a cardboard box full of even more kittens and walked away. I woke up before I could count them, and I still felt oddly happy, like I'd been trusted with something important."
