"I was in a parking lot at night, except the sky looked like late afternoon and everything had this yellow-green tint. Someone yelled that a tornado was coming, but instead of running I went back for my phone charger, which makes no sense. The tornado wasn't far away—it was huge and loud, but it moved strangely slow, like it was waiting for me. I ran through a neighborhood that kept changing. One second I was behind my old school, then suddenly I was in my aunt's backyard, then some apartment hallway with carpet that felt wet. The tornado kept following but never quite caught me. At one point I hid under a bed with a stranger and we both just stared at the ceiling, listening to it get closer. Then I was somehow inside the tornado, but it wasn't violent—it was full of papers and bits of houses spinning around me. I heard my name called from somewhere in the wind. I woke up with my heart pounding and had this weird feeling that it hadn't been trying to hurt me, just looking for me."
