"I sat at my kitchen table late at night. The room was dark and silent. Suddenly, a tiny grey mouse scrambled out from under the fridge. It stopped right in the middle of the floor and stood up on its hind legs. It wore a tiny red hat and held a little silver spoon. The mouse looked right at me and began to sing a song in a clear human voice. It tapped its tiny feet on the floor like a dancer. I stared at the mouse with wide eyes. I could not understand what was happening or why a mouse was singing to me. My mind went blank with wonder. I woke up scratching my head in complete disbelief."
