Frozen in Fear at the Uncovered Grave Meaning & Interpretation

"I was standing alone in a dark, empty graveyard. The air was very cold, and heavy fog covered the grass. I could not see the moon. I looked down at my feet. A deep, open grave was right in front of me. The dark pit seemed to stretch down forever. Suddenly, I heard a quiet scratching noise coming from inside the dirt. The wind began to blow hard, and the dry leaves on the ground started to swirl around my legs. I tried to step back, but my feet were frozen to the earth. I could not move at all. The shadow inside the pit began to grow taller and closer. I opened my mouth to scream, but no sound came out. Then, I woke up gasping for air."
