The Unwilling Haircut & the Path to Readiness Meaning & Interpretation

"I was sitting alone in a small hair salon. A woman stood behind me with a large pair of scissors. I looked at her in the mirror, but she did not smile. Without saying anything, she started cutting my hair. Long pieces of hair fell onto the floor. I became worried and asked her to stop, but she kept cutting. I tried to get out of the chair, but I could not move. My heart started beating fast. I watched more and more of my hair fall to the floor. I wanted to cry, but no sound came out. I looked in the mirror and saw that my hair was now very short. Then the woman picked up the scissors again. I begged her to stop, but she started cutting the rest of my hair. Suddenly, all my hair fell to the floor. I looked at myself in the mirror and could hardly recognize my face. The woman leaned close to my ear and whispered, "Now you are ready." I looked at the mirror again, but the woman was gone. I was alone in the salon, sitting in the chair with my hair all over the floor. I woke up feeling scared and quickly touched my head to make sure my hair was still there"
