House full of cats Dream: Warmth, comfort, and hidden Joy

"i was in a house that felt kind of like mine but with way more rooms than it should have, and there were cats everywhere, not in a chaotic way, just scattered around calmly, on the counters, curled up on the stairs, one just sitting in the sink watching me like that was completely normal. i wasn't questioning why there were so many, i just felt this steady happiness moving through the rooms finding more of them. i remember picking one up, orange, kind of chunky, and it just melted into my arms immediately, purring loud enough i could feel it in my own chest almost. i sat down on the floor at some point and like four of them came over at once, climbing over my legs, one settling right on my lap like it had done it a hundred times before. i went into what i think was supposed to be my kitchen and there were kittens this time, really small ones, tumbling around near a bowl, and i just sat there watching them for what felt like a long while, no urgency to be anywhere else, just content. one of them kept trying to climb my sleeve and kept sliding back down, and i remember laughing at that, actual real laughter in the dream, helping it up onto my shoulder where it just stayed, tiny claws holding on. there wasn't much of a plot really, i just kept moving room to room finding more of them, petting whichever one came close enough, and the whole thing had this warm settled feeling to it, nothing urgent ever happening, no jump into some other scenario, just cats and quiet contentment the whole way through. woke up still smiling a little, genuinely bummed for a second that i didn't actually have a house full of cats."
