Falling into Darkness Beyond the Cracked Floor Meaning & Interpretation

"I was in my living room. I walked to the kitchen. The floor cracked. It opened wide. I fell through the hole. I fell into darkness. I tried to grab the edge. My hands missed. I fell down and down. The light got smaller. I hit something soft. It was a pile of pillows. I looked around. I was in a strange room. The walls were made of dirt. It was cold. I heard footsteps above me. People walked around. I yelled, "Help! I am down here!" No one heard me. They kept walking. I tried to climb up. The walls were too smooth. I sat down. I did not know what to do. I felt so scared and alone. Then the floor above me closed. It was dark. I woke up in my bed. I was sweating. I touched the floor with my hand. It was solid. I felt so relieved. I stayed in bed all morning."
