Lost in a sprawling Airport without a destination

"i was in an airport, one of those sprawling ones that doesn't match any airport i've actually been to, and i had a flight to catch except i didn't know where, no destination in my head at all, just this pressing feeling that i was already late. i kept looking at boards but the gate numbers changed every time i blinked, like the letters were rearranging themselves on purpose. i remember running with a bag that kept getting heavier, not sure what was even in it, and asking someone at a desk which gate and they just pointed vaguely down a hallway that seemed to stretch longer the more i walked through it. at one point i was suddenly already on the plane, no memory of boarding, just there in a seat that wasn't mine, someone else's jacket draped over it. the plane itself felt small then big then small again, the aisle sometimes narrow enough to brush both shoulders, sometimes wide like a hallway. i looked out the window and it wasn't sky, it was just this flat gray nothing, no clouds, no ground, like the view hadn't loaded in yet. a flight attendant walked by asking for my ticket and i realized i didn't have one, just an empty pocket where i was sure i'd put it, and instead of panicking i just felt this dull confusion, like of course i don't have it, why would I. then i was walking down the aisle again except now it led back into the airport, no transition, just hallway into hallway, still looking for a gate i never found. woke up still faintly annoyed, that specific dream tiredness where you feel like you actually did all that walking."
