"I had a dream that a dog was chasing me, but I don't really remember why it started. I was somewhere that looked like the street near my old house, except the houses were different. I heard the dog behind me and somehow knew I needed to get away. I tried to run, but my legs felt heavy and I wasn't moving as fast as I wanted. I kept looking back, but every time I did, the dog seemed closer. It was a big dog, maybe black or dark brown. I remember its eyes more than anything. It wasn't barking anymore. It was just running after me without making much noise. I tried yelling for someone, but almost no sound came out. Then suddenly I was inside a room with my bedroom door, even though I don't know how I got there. I was trying to lock it, but the lock kept changing and I couldn't get it to work. I could hear the dog's breathing right outside. Then I woke up before it came in, still feeling like it was standing there."
