Flying with dad Beyond gravity

"I was running across the tarred roof of an old office building trying to return a borrowed library book before the sun set. out of nowhere my dad--who passed away five years ago--was running right beside me, laughing and telling me to hurry up. he looked so young and healthy, like he never got sick at all. When we reached the edge, he didn't stop; he just took off into the air, and I jumped right after him. suddenly we were swooping low over the glowing city lights below, gliding through the crisp night air like birds. I could feel the wind whipping through my hair, and this wild, electric joy exploded in my chest because we were together and gravity didn't apply to us anymore. he grabbed my hand and pulled us higher into the dark clouds. then all of a sudden I was sitting at a quiet bus stop holding a warm paper cup, still feeling that incredible, weightless rush in my stomach and the lingering warmth of his hand in mine."
