Snakes in the floorboards and jars

"I was looking for my keys when I noticed one of the floorboards moving. I knelt down to check it and a snake slid out through the gap. It wasn't huge, but then another one appeared, and another. I tried backing toward the door, but the room had changed. The furniture was gone, and the floor was covered in loose boards. Snakes were slipping in and out of the cracks. I kept thinking I needed to find my keys before leaving, even though I was already holding them. My brother suddenly walked in carrying a laundry basket. I told him to stop, but he stepped right over the snakes and asked if I had seen his blue shirt. Then the floor dropped away. I was standing in a grocery store aisle, surrounded by shelves of jars. Snakes were curled inside every jar instead of food. One lifted its head when I passed. I ran until I reached the checkout, but the cashier looked at me and said, "You brought them with you." I woke up with my feet tucked tightly under the blanket."
