The lost Gold ring in the old Drawer

"I was looking through an old drawer in my bedroom, though I don't remember what I needed. It was full of random things, old receipts, tangled earphones, and a key that didn't look familiar. Then I found a small box under everything. Inside was a gold ring I thought I'd lost years ago. I felt so happy, almost like I'd found something much more important than a ring. I kept turning it over in my fingers, trying to remember who gave it to me. Then my bedroom suddenly looked like my childhood home, and my mother was calling me from downstairs. I wanted to show her what I'd found, but the ring disappeared from my hand. I searched the drawer again, getting more and more frustrated. Somehow I ended up outside in the rain, still looking for that little box. I woke up with a strange feeling that I'd forgotten something important, but I couldn't figure out what it was."
