Lost car in an endless Parking lot

"I came out of some building, a mall or a hospital, hard to tell, into a parking lot that went on way past where it should, and walked to the spot where I was sure I'd left my car. Just empty asphalt, a faded yellow line. I checked the row number again, same number, nothing there. I kept pressing the key fob and heard a faint beep from somewhere, but every time I turned toward it the sound moved. I walked up and down the rows, passing cars that looked almost like mine, same color, wrong everything else, a different dent, a sticker I'd never put on. I asked a guy loading groceries if he'd seen it and he said something about the lot being rearranged on Tuesdays, and I nodded like that was a normal thing to say. Levels kept adding themselves, ramps going up to floors I didn't remember climbing. I found a car finally, mine maybe, but the seats were wrong. Woke up still trying to remember where I'd left it."
