The return of the silent Visitor

"I dreamed that someone close to me had died, but nobody would tell me exactly what happened. I was standing in my living room while relatives came in quietly, some of them crying. I kept asking who it was, even though deep down I somehow already knew. My legs felt weak, and I sat on the sofa waiting for someone to explain it to me. Then I saw the person walking through the front door, looking completely normal, carrying a bag of groceries. I wanted to run over and hug them, but everyone else acted as if they couldn't see them. I tried to say something, but my throat felt tight and no words came out. Suddenly we were sitting together at a table, talking about an ordinary family problem, and I felt so relieved that I almost laughed. Then I remembered they were supposed to be dead. I woke up with tears in my eyes and a heavy feeling I couldn't shake for a while."
