"I felt one of my teeth come loose. I reached up and it slipped into my hand. I held it up and looked at it closely, and it was perfect, shiny and clear, almost like glass. "This tooth still looks so good," I told myself. Even so, a worry crept in. I don't like dreams about teeth falling out, because they usually mean something bad is coming. I silently prayed that nothing terrible would happen, and I decided not to tell anyone. When I woke up, my heart felt a little heavy and uneasy, and the image of the glassy tooth stayed in my mind through the morning. Later, while mowing the grass, I steered toward the tree. The mower struck a root and shut off. When I started it again, it shook badly. I looked underneath and saw the metal blade was bent. I took it off and worked on it for about an hour, bending it back to roughly 80% of its shape. I would try again tomorrow with better tools. Then it clicked. The dream had been about this. I sighed and whispered, "Thank God it was only the lawnmower, and nothing worse." The uneasy feeling lifted, and a quiet relief settled in."

Jungian Analysis
Core Theme

"This dream reflects a moment of anxious anticipation that transforms into relief when a small, manageable disruption occurs. The perfect glass tooth symbolizes something precious and intact that seems lost, but the real-life event of a bent lawnmower blade reveals that the feared 'bad thing' is minor and fixable, leading to a sense of peace."
