White dog Follows through Old neighborhood and supermarket

"I dreamed about a white dog that kept following me. I was walking somewhere that looked a little like my old neighborhood, but I couldn't figure out where I was. The dog was behind me the whole time. It wasn't scary. It just stayed close, almost like it knew me. I stopped a few times and turned around to look at it. Every time, it would just sit there and wait. I remember wanting to touch it, but for some reason I never did. Then I was suddenly inside a supermarket, and the dog was beside me even though I had no idea how it got inside. I was looking for something on a shelf when I noticed the dog was gone. I felt strangely worried and started looking around for it. Then I heard its paws on the floor behind me. When I turned around, it was there again, looking at me. I woke up feeling calm, almost like I had been with someone familiar."
