The lion on the escalator

"I was walking through a mall that had no ceiling, just open sky, when I heard something heavy behind me. I turned and saw a lion coming down the escalator. Nobody else seemed to notice it. I started running, but every store I entered led back to the same hallway. The lion wasn't running fast, almost walking, but it kept getting closer. At one point it called my name. It didn't sound like a roar, more like someone I knew trying to get my attention. I hid behind a rack of clothes, which somehow turned into my childhood bedroom. I climbed onto the bed and pulled the blanket over me, even though I knew that wouldn't help. The lion walked into the room and lay down on the floor. I could feel it breathing. I thought maybe it only wanted to be let outside, but I was too scared to move. Then I was back in the mall, standing perfectly still while it walked past me. I woke up before it turned around."
