"I was brushing my teeth when I noticed blood around my gums. At first it was only a little, but when I spit into the sink, the water was completely red. I kept brushing because for some reason I thought that would make it better. My mouth started feeling strange and sore. I looked in the mirror, but my teeth seemed much longer than normal. I tried to call someone, but when I opened my mouth, I couldn't get the words out properly. Then I was suddenly sitting in a waiting room. There were people around me, but nobody looked at me. I kept pressing a tissue against my gums, and it was getting redder. I don't even remember why I was there. Somehow I was back in my bathroom. The bleeding had stopped, but there was blood on my shirt that I couldn't remember getting there. I woke up and immediately ran my tongue over my gums to check them."

Core Theme

"This dream reflects a moment of silent crisis where you feel your voice and vitality draining away, yet you continue a routine that only worsens the wound. The blood, elongating teeth, and inability to speak suggest a fear of losing control, being unheard, or being unable to express a deep need for help. The waiting room and unnoticed bleeding point to a sense of isolation and the quiet desperation of suffering without recognition."

Reflection

When the bleeding starts, the instinct to keep brushing is a metaphor for persisting in habits that hurt us. True healing begins when you pause, acknowledge the wound, and allow yourself to be seen—even if your voice shakes. The blood on your shirt is a reminder that pain leaves traces, but it also calls you to tend to it before it stains deeper.
