Silent orcas Beneath the glass Floor

"I was floating on a tiny wooden raft in the middle of a swimming pool that somehow stretched out as far as the ocean, looking for a lost pair of sunglasses I knew were at the bottom. The water was pitch black and freezing cold against my legs. Suddenly, this massive, glossy black shape passed right beneath me, so close I could feel the ripple of its blowhole pulsing through the planks. It was an enormous killer whale, and then two more surfaced beside it, their huge white eye patches glinting in the dark water. They weren't making any noise, just circling closer and closer in total silence. I tried to paddle toward a dock I could see in the distance, but my arms felt completely numb and useless, like trying to swim through wet concrete. Next thing I knew, I was trapped under a glass floor watching one of them press its flat snout right against the pane beneath my feet, and this cold, suffocating dread filled my chest because I knew the glass was about to shatter."
